Our Founding Journey
Zega International School was founded by a group of visionary parents, educators, and socially conscious investors who combined their resources to create Zega Education & Training Services Share Company, an investment vehicle dedicated to education. Driven by a commitment to excellence and a desire to shape their children's educational experiences, the parent-project owners aim to balance educational quality and financial viability. These parent-shareholders are committed to providing high-quality education and actively participating in the school's governance and decision-making processes.
The founders of Zega International School are dedicated to addressing common challenges in the Ethiopian private school landscape, such as compromised educational quality, tuition fee escalations, hidden costs, and a lack of parent and student voices. The parent-owners bring diverse professional experience to the school, including expertise in education, business, and leadership. This collaborative initiative ensures that the school environment continuously evolves to meet high standards.
